The tall segment of an elephant's tusk displaying two herons and ducks in a lotus pond while birds are flying above, in takamakie, hiramakie, kirikane and inlays of carved mother-of-pearl. Wooden base with a scroll in makie. Two cracks, but only on the inside of the tusk, one inlay of a bird loose.
This lot cannot be sold outside an EU member state. Sales permit for the EU internal market available.
Zustand
Two dry cracks, but only visible at the mouth and inner wall. One mother-of-pearl bird loose (enclosed separately). Minimal flaking of the black lacquer on the base.
