Seated with sword tied to his back on top of a Chinese table with two oni hiding underneath, one of them making the bekkanko gesture. Signed Kinsai and seal.
The carver is not listed by Davey but can be found in the MCI, p. 341. Meinertzhagen is not sure whether the signature should be read as Kinsai or Kisai.
